Product iterations with confidence at Leasey.AI

Company Information

Leasey.AI is a platform that streamlines and automates the leasing process for residential real estate companies (apartments, student housing, etc). Leasey.AI enables property managers to place tenants in record time with 70% less effort by helping them screen, schedule viewings, and do leasing transactions right on the platform.

The Why

Leasey.AI recently launched the platform and are on their path towards expansion across Canada and the United States. Brothers Carlos and Juan, founders of Leasey.AI are looking for feedback from residential Property Managers to help them find the best angle to market their product, gain pilot users, and also crucial feedback to improve their product.

User Research at Leasey.AI

The Leasey.AI team takes a continuous feedback approach, where each month they would conduct 3-5 interviews with new Property Managers. This has been the case with several enterprise clients since day-one.

This continuous process allowed the team to learn first-hand about the pain points, processes, and ideas for an ideal solution from their Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and has greatly helped them understand the market need, validating it, and developing a solution that stands out from the competition. Lightster helps the team recruit and screen to ensure that the Property Managers fit the target audience profiles desired.

Each interview was 30 minutes in length, and focused on both customer discovery and product evaluation questions. At Leasey.AI, every line of code is developed only after confirming a business case with clients.

The Result

Through conducting regular interviews and user feedback sessions, this collaborative “co-creation” approach has allowed the team to iterate faster, get validation efficiently at pace, and ensure that no development effort goes to waste.

This collaborative effort has allowed them to iterate faster, validate efficiently, and optimize our resources, ensuring that no development effort goes to waste. Every line of code is developed only after confirming a business case with clients. As a bonus, they have also received intent for pilot and referral agreements.
