Uncovering onboarding roadblocks with real data
Our client wanted to give Software Developers the ultimate task management tool they deserve. Software developers manage a wide breadth of tasks in addition to their “day job”, including attending meetings where they can ask questions, get feedback, or receive approval on their work. The tool our client was building aimed at providing developers with a way to overcome two key pain points; time and cost of collaboration.
Despite their solution to this ongoing problem, our client stumbled upon significant roadblocks. Their team had created a minimum viable product over the past few years but were struggling to understand why users were not getting through the onboarding process. They were aware of alternatives to do user research, but needed a solution fast. Preferably, a solution that would allow them to get real data quickly by building together with their users.
What did Lightster do to help?
Using our thousands of unique and verified user profiles, we matched our client with a product team in seconds. They used the product for over a period of 30 days - when the team found issues on the app, they would log feedback tickets, or hop on a call with the product creators. This allowed the product creators to get continuous feedback on certain features, and get real usage data.
